Responsibilities:
- Architect, build and operate high-throughput, application-level services (initial focus: Identity & Authentication and Search).
- Design secure, well-documented internal APIs and developer-facing tools to enable product teams.
- Lead technical evolution for shared platform services (scalability, resilience, monitoring, and performance).
- Implement robust, testable Golang code and take operational ownership of services in production.
- Collaborate with product owners, tech leads and other teams to translate requirements into scalable designs.
- Champion best practices: modular architecture, automated testing, observability and security.
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience (multiple years) building production services with Golang at scale.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, system design and performance tuning.
- Practical experience with identity/authentication standards (OAuth2, OIDC) and tooling such as Keycloak.
- Familiarity with search technologies, API design and developer tooling.
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and containerised deployments.
- Strong testing, documentation and collaboration skills; ability to mentor and influence cross-functional teams.
