Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and refine large-scale relevance and recommender models for real-time in-app advertising.
- Develop and optimise bidding/policy strategies using Bayesian methods, reinforcement learning and other optimisation techniques.
- Build meta-learning and personalization frameworks to adapt models from user interactions.
- Run rigorous A/B tests and experiments; measure impact on business KPIs and iterate.
- Take models from research to production using the team’s ML stack (Python, Kubernetes on AWS, Airflow, MLFlow, Trino).
- Collaborate with product and engineering to harden and scale successful experiments; mentor peers and participate in architecture discussions.
Requirements:
- 4+ years professional experience in data science, ideally in AdTech, mobile gaming, e‑commerce or related real-time domains.
- Proven track record deploying large-scale recommender or real-time ML systems and neural-network models.
- Strong skills in Python and SQL and familiarity with ML infra (Kubernetes, AWS, Airflow, MLFlow, Trino) and productionising models.
- Experience with A/B testing, causal evaluation and production experimentation pipelines.
- Solid understanding of Bayesian methods, reinforcement learning or other optimisation algorithms.
- Ability to balance research and engineering: move quickly from prototype to robust, scalable solutions.
- Good communicator, collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge across the team.
