Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform; own infrastructure lifecycle and cost optimisation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments (Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar).
- Automate server and network configuration using Ansible and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Deploy and operate container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and supporting tooling.
- Implement monitoring and alerting; troubleshoot production incidents and drive remediation.
- Apply security best practices and support compliance automation.
- Work with networking fundamentals (L2/L3, VLANs, switching, routing), overlay networks and network automation.
- Collaborate with development, QA and ops teams to improve reliability and delivery speed.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform in production environments.
- Proven experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Solid networking knowledge (L2/L3 concepts, VLANs, switching, routing) and experience with overlay/SDN technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and clear communication.
- Nice to have: AWS certifications and experience supporting visa/work-permit processes for hires.
