Responsibilities:
- Co-own and evolve the shared design system: component library, tokens, documentation and Storybook.
- Design component APIs and machine-readable interfaces so both humans and AI agents can compose UI correctly.
- Ensure components are accessible by default (WCAG 2.2 AA) and implement theming, localization and RTL support.
- Produce high-quality React/TypeScript code, improve performance and maintainability of components.
- Improve developer experience: docs, versioning, migration paths and tooling for adoption across teams.
- Partner with design, product and accessibility engineers to define patterns and measure adoption.

Requirements:
- 5+ years software engineering experience with ~3 years in senior roles owning design systems or component libraries.
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, Storybook and component API design.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) and best practices for globalization.
- Experience building developer tooling, documentation and measurable adoption-focused improvements.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with design, product and engineering stakeholders.
