Responsibilities:
- Design and implement hands-on platform and infrastructure security controls (secrets management, audit logging, access controls).
- Assess current state, identify high-impact risks, and produce prioritized remediation plans.
- Build secure-by-default platform solutions and automation to remove manual security burden from teams.
- Integrate security into CI/CD, container/Kubernetes workflows, and IaC pipelines.
- Collaborate daily with Infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to review architecture and ship fixes.
- Contribute to incident response, detection rules, and logging/observability for production environments.

Requirements:
- Proven, hands-on experience designing and implementing platform/infrastructure security (not just auditing).
- Strong cloud security background; GCP experience preferred but AWS/Azure expertise acceptable.
- Practical experience with secrets management, audit logging, and controlled production access.
- Familiarity with IaC, container/Kubernetes security, and automating controls (Python, Go, or Bash).
- Ability to explain risks using evidence, architecture, and concrete scenarios to technical teams.
- AppSec, SIEM, and SOC experience are useful but not mandatory.
