Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain high-performance C++ and Python applications for computer vision and 3D perception.
- Develop and improve the processing pipeline from raw sensor data to point clouds, panoramic images, and maps.
- Optimize algorithms and systems for efficiency, scalability, and stability.
- Collaborate with the cloud team to package, deploy, and operate services in cloud environments.
- Own full application lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and production support.
- Improve and extend automated tests and delivery pipelines; enforce clean code and design patterns.
- Mentor teammates through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Computer Vision, or related field.
- 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expert-level C++ skills and solid Python proficiency.
- Practical experience with 3D perception systems: point cloud processing, filtering, SLAM or related robotics/vision work.
- Strong understanding of 3D data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and common design patterns.
- Experience deploying and maintaining software across platforms and cloud environments; familiarity with CI/CD practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration skills, and prior mentoring experience.
- Interest in agile development and building production-grade perception systems.
