Responsibilities:
- Implement backend features for a new banking platform using Java/Kotlin and modern frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
- Translate business requirements into clean, testable code and maintain high code quality.
- Work within microservices and event-driven architectures to build scalable transaction flows.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and deployments; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Learn platform internals, best practices and scale patterns while contributing to system reliability and performance.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms and core programming concepts.
- Practical knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin and a passion for clean, testable code.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills; eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity or interest in Docker, Spring Boot, AWS, Terraform and Python; experience with microservices/event-based systems is a plus.
- Background in financial services is beneficial but not required.
