Responsibilities:
- Design, operate and maintain secure, highly available AWS networks (VPCs, subnets, routing, peering).
- Build and maintain connectivity to partners and external services (PrivateLink, ELB, Transit/GW patterns).
- Implement, extend and maintain IaC using Terraform; develop automation with Python for provisioning and runbooks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents; run post-incident reviews and implement preventive fixes.
- Create reusable network components and patterns for multi-account cloud strategy.
- Collaborate with platform and application teams to enable secure, scalable deployments and DevOps practices.
- Define monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning for network services.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with AWS networking (VPC, ELB/ALB/NLB, PrivateLink, Route 53) in production.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting (Python or similar).
- Strong network troubleshooting skills (routing, NAT, security groups, VPNs, peering, proxies).
- Familiarity with cloud-native patterns (multi-account, service meshes, serverless connectivity) and HA design.
- Experience creating automation, observability, runbooks and documentation.
- Good communication skills to support and mentor development teams.
