Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain secure, high‑quality software for the Asset Management business using modern patterns (microservices, event-driven, C#/.NET).
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and robust solutions; drive architecture and system design decisions.
- Lead project workstreams, mentor engineers, review code, and enforce clean-code and automated testing practices (unit/integration/TDD).
- Operate and improve CI/CD pipelines, containerised deployments (Kubernetes/Podman), and observability for reliability and scalability.
- Provide operational support and participate in on-call rotations to resolve production incidents and perform scheduled maintenance.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, compliance, and external suppliers on integration, change management and secure development standards.
- Propose technical improvements and contribute to departmental strategy, documentation and version control standards.

Requirements:
- University degree in computer science, information management or related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a technical role at a financial institution or software provider to financial services.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and modern software engineering practices (microservices, CI/CD, automated testing).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes/Podman, container deployments, messaging platforms (Kafka) and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with secure development, performance optimisation, and working with asset management or trading systems preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder communication, and ability to work in cross-functional international teams.
