Responsibilities:
- Build, refactor, and maintain the transformation layer (staging → intermediate → marts) in dbt, treating data as code.
- Ensure data reliability via version control, code reviews, automated dbt tests, and clear documentation.
- Collaborate with product analysts to translate game mechanics and business needs into semantic models and marts.
- Design and deliver optimized data sources for BI (Tableau) so analysts can generate insights without manual joins.
- Monitor and improve query performance and data stability; optimize heavy SQL transformations for production workloads.
- Identify gaps in the analytics model, propose new marts, and formalize requirements from stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Strong, practical SQL skills and experience optimizing complex queries; ClickHouse experience is a plus.
- Experience with dbt or similar analytics engineering frameworks and with Python for automation.
- Solid understanding of modern DWH design patterns (layered architecture, Star Schema, OBT) and data modeling.
- Experience creating BI-ready datasets for Tableau or equivalent and translating business questions into models.
- Familiarity with version control, code reviews, and automated testing in an analytics codebase.
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to performance, and willingness to learn game product and backend domains.
