Responsibilities:
- Design, build and evolve a scalable internal developer platform on AWS using Terraform.
- Implement and automate infrastructure delivery via CI/CD (e.g. Spacelift) and self-service workflows.
- Own core platform components to enable teams to build, deploy and operate services autonomously.
- Review PRs, maintain engineering standards, and share knowledge across teams.
- Evaluate and introduce AWS services and cloud-native patterns where they add value.
- Define and enforce security, compliance and resilience guardrails and platform standards.
- Partner with product teams to remove developer workflow bottlenecks and translate needs into platform solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience operating large-scale AWS environments (compute, storage, networking, backup/recovery, security).
- Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD automation and platform engineering concepts.
- Experience building internal developer platforms or platform components that improve developer experience.
- Strong end-to-end ownership, systems and product mindset; able to drive complex topics to completion.
- Clear, collaborative communication style and openness to feedback; experience mentoring or knowledge sharing.
- Ability to make pragmatic engineering trade-offs balancing quality, speed and maintainability.
- Curiosity and a structured approach to continuous improvement.
