Responsibilities:
- Design and implement REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and backend business logic using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Model data and implement queries, policies, and real-time features on Supabase/PostgreSQL.
- Deploy, operate, and optimize services on GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, IAM).
- Produce clean, testable code and own unit, integration, and E2E tests (e.g., Jest).
- Implement secure-by-default authentication, authorization, and data protection patterns.
- Configure logging, monitoring, alerting, and lead incident response and uptime improvements.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and mentor teammates.

Requirements:
- 5+ years in backend engineering roles with production experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Supabase or PostgreSQL-backed systems.
- Practical knowledge of GCP or equivalent cloud platforms and serverless deployments.
- Familiarity with Clean Code/Clean Architecture, CI/CD, and Git workflows.
- Experience designing APIs (REST/GraphQL) and building cloud-native services.
- Good communication, documentation skills, and ability to work onsite in Lisbon (relocation support available).
