Responsibilities:
- Analyse clinical studies of cerebral small vessel disease, including brain MRI and related physiological, cognitive, and sociological measures.
- Work with large longitudinal cohorts and health-registry linked datasets to derive robust research findings.
- Manage, clean, curate and document research datasets to ensure reproducibility and data integrity.
- Apply appropriate statistical models and image analysis methods to answer research questions and produce publishable results.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to study design, and prepare analyses for scientific publication.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in statistical approaches, analytical techniques, and applied modelling for clinical research.
- Experience with medical image analysis/neuroimaging methods related to vascular disease, ageing, or neurodegeneration.
- Experience working with large clinical cohort studies and health registry–linked data.
- Strong data management skills and familiarity with programming for analysis (e.g., R, Python, or domain-specific tools).
- Track record of scientific publication in relevant fields and ability to present results clearly to clinical and academic audiences.
