Engineering Manager [AI Business Features] at Plata Card

Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-functional engineering team responsible for shipping AI-powered business features end-to-end.
- Own delivery: planning, task decomposition, prioritization, and on-time execution.
- Review and influence architecture and technical design; ensure engineering quality and scalability.
- Partner closely with Product, Data, and AI to translate hypotheses into measurable features.
- Recruit, mentor, and grow engineers; improve team processes and cross-team collaboration.
- Run experiments (A/B, metrics) and use data to decide whether to scale or iterate features.

Requirements:
- Proven experience managing engineering teams (hiring, performance, delivery) in AI/ML or data-driven contexts.
- Strong technical background with hands-on development experience and ability to validate technical decisions.
- Track record shipping AI-powered, user-facing features from concept to production (experimentation experience a plus).
- Ability to translate ambiguous business/product needs into clear technical scopes and priorities.
- Excellent cross-team communication and stakeholder management skills; English B1+.
- Comfortable operating in short cycles and handling multiple concurrent initiatives.
