Responsibilities:
- Investigate reconciliation cases between product transaction logs and accounting systems; identify and document discrepancies and root causes.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using DWH data to surface issues and measure reconciliation health.
- Improve and standardise reconciliation processes, creating reliable, repeatable checks and automations.
- Collaborate with System Analysts, product and engineering teams to resolve non-standard financial cases and implement fixes.
- Work with production datasets to map transaction flows, produce clear incident notes and hand off remediation steps.
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and finance stakeholders; maintain documentation and runbooks.
Requirements:
- Mathematical or technical degree and strong foundations in mathematical statistics and probability theory.
- Proficient SQL skills and comfort working with large datasets and data warehouses.
- Systematic problem-solving mindset, attention to detail and ability to investigate issues to root cause.
- English sufficient to read technical documentation and communicate findings.
- Interest in fintech/banking products and practical curiosity about how transactions flow through systems.
- Nice-to-haves: experience with Airflow, Streamlit, columnar databases or using AI agents for coding and automation.
