Responsibilities:
- Implement scoring features, policy rules and decision strategies used for real-time credit decisions.
- Maintain and extend a high-load Python service and its data contracts, ensuring reliability under strict SLAs.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, maintain test coverage and run validations against production-like traffic.
- Debug incidents quickly: trace decisions through logs, restore correct behaviour and participate in post-incident analysis.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams, follow conventions and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements:
- 1+ year practical Python experience (projects, internships or commercial work) with solid OOP and dataclasses knowledge.
- Comfortable with type hints and static checking, and basic pydantic usage for data validation.
- Experience with Docker, Git and working in branch/MR workflows.
- Practical testing skills using pytest: unit, integration, parametrized tests and mocking.
- Basic SQL skills and ability to read and reason about existing code before changing it.
- Proactive communicator who raises blockers early; English level B1 or higher.
Nice-to-have:
- gRPC/Protobuf, Kubernetes/Helm, CI/CD experience (GitLab CI), message brokers (Kafka, Pub/Sub) or MLOps exposure.
