Product Manager Lead [Communications Platform] at Plata Card

Responsibilities:
- Own the product vision and long-term roadmap for the Communications Platform across In App Communications, Vendor Channels, Notification Center, and Event Operations.
- Serve as product owner for In App Communications (Push, Pop-ups, Banners): prioritize backlog, define requirements, drive releases, and track success metrics.
- Lead and grow a cross-functional team (2 Product Managers, 1 Project Manager): coaching, goal-setting, process design, and hiring support.
- Partner with Engineering and external vendors on infrastructure, integrations, delivery guarantees, and technical trade-offs.
- Collaborate with internal product teams (e.g., Acquisition, Collections) to gather needs and align platform priorities.
- Improve platform economics and delivery: optimize channel mix and costs, define send rules, and increase reliability and speed of notifications.
- Support onboarding of new channels (SMS, WhatsApp, Email) and vendor relationships.

Requirements:
- 1–2 years in a Product Lead role or equivalent product ownership experience.
- Proven experience building platform products (infrastructure, scalability, stability) with a platform mindset.
- Strong product leadership skills: strategy, roadmap definition, and people management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
- Technical fluency sufficient to discuss architecture and prioritize trade-offs with Engineering.
- Familiarity with communication channels and vendor integrations preferred.
