Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and extend the Backstage‑based developer portal and related internal tooling.
- Design and implement self‑service workflows for service onboarding, CI/CD integration and infrastructure provisioning.
- Integrate platform components with APIs, GraphQL endpoints and webhooks; ensure smooth pipeline and deployment flows.
- Embed observability (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry) and security controls (OAuth, RBAC) into the platform.
- Drive adoption across engineering teams by improving UX, documentation and automation.
- Collaborate with Platform, DevOps and application teams to keep the portal reliable and highly available.
Requirements:
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience; familiarity with Backstage is a plus.
- Experience with at least one backend language (Golang, Python) and building production services.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical knowledge of APIs, GraphQL, webhooks and integrating internal tools.
- Familiarity with observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry) and security patterns (OAuth, RBAC).
- Passion for developer experience, automation and open‑source collaboration.
