Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the company design system: components, tokens, documentation and developer adoption.
- Define and drive front-end architecture and patterns used across product teams to ensure consistency, performance and scalability.
- Build high-quality, accessible UI primitives and component APIs aligned with Design intent.
- Improve rendering strategies, bundle performance and build tooling to support a growing engineering team and customer base.
- Establish testing practices (unit, integration, visual regression) and CI workflows for frontend deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with product designers and engineers to ship complex UIs (adaptive forms, branching workflows, dense tables).
- Mentor engineers, review front-end code, and promote best practices across the org.

Requirements:
- Strong production experience with React and TypeScript; familiarity with Next.js or similar frameworks.
- Proven ownership of a design system or large component library and experience driving cross-team adoption.
- Deep knowledge of CSS, accessibility (a11y) best practices, performance optimization and rendering strategies.
- Experience with front-end build tooling, bundlers, CI and visual-regression or end-to-end testing tools.
- Excellent product sense, collaboration skills and ability to translate design into robust, reusable code.
- Experience in mentoring/leadership and working in fast-growing startup environments is highly desirable.
