Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support secure, resilient enterprise applications and services.
- Own services end-to-end: technical design, coding, automated tests, reviews, and production operation.
- Implement back-end services with Java and Spring Boot; design relational and NoSQL data models.
- Build modern front-end components using React/Angular and TypeScript where required.
- Apply CI/CD, GitOps, container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift) and cloud platform best practices (AWS/Azure).
- Troubleshoot, profile, and resolve performance and production issues; maintain observability and resiliency patterns.
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience (enterprise applications preferred).
- Strong Java and Spring Boot experience; experience with RESTful APIs and persistence layers.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React or Angular) and TypeScript is desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containers, and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git-based workflows.
- Good understanding of distributed systems, observability, performance tuning, and security practices.
- Strong communication, client-facing skills, and the ability to work in agile teams.
- Willingness to learn and apply EY engineering standards and collaborate across global teams.
