Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, delivery and evolution of developer platform and AI tooling features.
- Drive multi-quarter projects: plan milestones, execute iteratively and measure outcomes.
- Build and operate CI/CD, testing infra, observability, metrics and code-quality automation systems.
- Integrate and scale AI-assisted development features to improve developer workflows.
- Set technical direction for maintainability, scalability and operational reliability.
- Advise and align with engineering leadership on roadmap and technical trade-offs.
- Mentor engineers through reviews, design collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Own operational excellence: monitoring, incident handling, iterative improvement and deprecation.
- Ensure integrations with third-party APIs and SaaS are secure, reliable and developer-friendly.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2–3+ years at Senior or Staff level.
- Strong hands-on experience building and running developer platforms, CI/CD, observability/metrics, testing infra or related systems.
- Proven ability to deliver tooling or infrastructure that improves delivery speed, quality or observability.
- Solid backend skills: APIs, scalable architectures, deployment and monitoring patterns.
- Experience with security, SaaS integrations, and operational ownership practices.
- Strong communication, leadership and mentorship abilities; able to work autonomously and cross-functionally.
