Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain platform components in Java; contribute hands‑on across the full development lifecycle.
- Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (unit, integration, automated regression) and follow TDD practices where applicable.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and production support to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Participate in production support and incident calls; own issues through to resolution and post‑incident follow up.
- Work with databases, messaging/queueing systems, cloud services and observability tooling to deliver reliable platforms.
- Identify and escalate technical and delivery risks; contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and tooling.
- Partner with global engineering teams to ensure consistent delivery and cross‑region coordination.
Requirements:
- Strong hands‑on Java development experience in an agile delivery environment.
- Practical experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with relational/noSQL databases, messaging/queueing technologies and cloud platforms.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (logs, metrics, tracing).
- Comfortable with production support responsibilities and incident management.
- Good communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
