Kotlin / Java Software Engineer - Broker (m/f/x) at Scalable GmbH

Responsibilities:
- Join a cross-functional team to expand and operate the broker product for retail investing.
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and run backend services and APIs using Kotlin/Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, AWS, Terraform).
- Collaborate with product, QA, and operations to ship reliable, scalable features for trading, savings plans and asset types.
- Promote modern practices: automated testing, observability, performance tuning, and secure deployment.

Requirements:
- University degree in CS/engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Docker, AWS, and Terraform.
- Good analytical and communication skills for working with engineers and product stakeholders.
- Commitment to well-architected, testable, and documented code; experience with microservices/DDD is a plus.
- Familiarity with security and GDPR compliance is highly desirable; fintech/domain experience is a strong advantage.
