Responsibilities:
- Design and build backend services and APIs from scratch using TypeScript; contribute to tech-stack decisions.
- Implement platform features for renewable energy use cases (smart meters, dynamic pricing, EV charging) and greenfield projects.
- Write testable code and maintain unit, integration, and E2E test suites; improve reliability and reduce Ops load.
- Work in a cross-functional team, collaborate with Product, and support scaling efforts with pragmatic engineering.
- Use CI/CD tooling (Docker, GitHub Actions) and participate in deployment and observability practices.

Requirements:
- 3+ years backend development experience with strong TypeScript skills and API design experience.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and principles for scaling and performance.
- Familiarity with testing practices (unit, integration, E2E) and CI/CD workflows (Docker, GitHub Actions).
- Comfortable working on greenfield projects, pragmatic about quality, and fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Nice to have: experience with AWS (ECS, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda), React/React Native, and practical use of AI tools for developer productivity.
