Responsibilities:
- Build and operate a secure, multi-cluster, multi-cloud Kubernetes platform (OKD/OpenShift on AWS/Azure/EU Cloud).
- Design and implement GitOps deployment pipelines with ArgoCD and related tooling.
- Extend platform capabilities via Crossplane compositions, custom APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code patterns.
- Implement progressive delivery, service mesh (Istio) and policy enforcement (Kyverno) for safe rollouts.
- Provide SRE support: troubleshooting, observability, incident response, and reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to expose self-service APIs and developer-friendly workflows.
- Use AI assistants to accelerate engineering tasks while maintaining secure, auditable processes.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes and experience with OKD/OpenShift or similar self-operated K8s distributions.
- Practical experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD/Flux) and IaC (Crossplane, Terraform or similar).
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.).
- Programming skills in Go, Python, or Java for automation and operators.
- Strong security mindset: identity, encryption, policy enforcement and compliance considerations.
- Experience operating platforms for regulated or high-availability environments is a plus.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with an Agile/DevOps approach.
