Responsibilities:
- Support and scale the internal Temporal.io platform for engineering teams, ensuring reliability, scalability, and ease of use.
- Operate and maintain the Streaming Data Platform: design/deploy Kafka clusters, run Kafka Connect and Flink, and manage on-prem Kubernetes workloads.
- Implement cross-cluster replication and disaster recovery patterns (MirrorMaker2) and design multi-cluster/multi-DC resilience.
- Maintain infrastructure with Terraform and deliver via GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD using GitOps practices.
- Automate operations and reduce toil using Golang and infra tooling; plan safe upgrades, migrations, broker replacements, and rebalances.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility with Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, and PagerDuty; investigate production incidents.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS or related technical field.
- 3+ years in a Platform/Infrastructure role supporting production, high-scale environments (fintech/trading preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (self-hosted/on-prem), Helm, ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD, and Terraform.
- Practical Golang experience and familiarity with telemetry stacks (Prometheus/Grafana/Alertmanager/PagerDuty).
- Proven experience operating high-throughput Kafka and Kafka Connect; knowledge of Flink and MirrorMaker2 is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, automation mindset, and experience designing resilient, multi-cluster systems.
