Responsibilities:
- Execute and lead software bring-up of Wayve’s AI stack on customer SoCs (e.g. NVIDIA Drive, Qualcomm Ride).
- Port and configure embedded OSs (Linux, QNX) and Adaptive AUTOSAR, integrate drivers and boot-time components.
- Develop automation for flashing, system health checks, test execution and integration into CI/CD and HIL.
- Work directly with OEMs and Tier‑1 partners to resolve hardware-specific issues and enable reliable deployments.
- Implement system diagnostics, logging, secure boot config and tooling to support validation flows.
- Coordinate with Verification & Release to ensure hardware is testable and integrated into release pipelines.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of embedded or automotive software experience with demonstrable platform bring-up work.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, Bash, and Python for low-level development and automation.
- Deep understanding of embedded Linux internals, bootloaders, device trees, Yocto and familiarity with QNX/AUTOSAR.
- Experience with SoC bring-up, drivers, debugging tools, and automotive interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, PCIe).
- Experience integrating hardware into CI/CD/HIL environments and collaborating with OEM/Tier‑1 teams.
- Effective communicator with problem-solving focus and willingness to relocate for the role.
