About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy and maintain production LLM programs integrated into products and internal flows.
- Build backend services, APIs and integrations to operationalize AI capabilities at scale.
- Implement production-ready RAG, embeddings, vector search, agents and tool-calling architectures.
- Develop reusable modules and engineering patterns to improve consistency and delivery speed.
- Set up evaluation frameworks, observability, monitoring and user feedback mechanisms for AI features.
- Optimize for performance, reliability, scalability and inference cost; investigate and resolve production incidents.
- Work with Product and ML teams to prototype quickly and convert validated concepts into robust systems.
- Drive architecture choices, trade-offs and long-term technical sustainability.

Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience delivering LLM-powered features into production environments.
- Practical familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector search, agentic systems, LLM APIs and orchestration.
- Strong grasp of production LLM concerns: evaluation, telemetry, failure modes, latency, reliability and cost.
- Excellent software engineering skills (backend, APIs, cloud deployments, Docker, CI/CD) and distributed systems experience.
- Experience with Python and modern web stacks (TypeScript/Node.js) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
- Product-oriented communicator able to collaborate across Product, ML and Engineering.

Requires hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered applications into production with expertise in RAG, agents, and vector search. Strong software engineering background is essential, with proficiency in backend services and cloud infrastructure.
