Senior Backend Engineer - Fintech Solution at Lionhires

Responsibilities:
- Architect and build high-throughput backend services using Node.js and Nest.js.
- Design and scale data storage for high-load workloads (MySQL, MongoDB) and implement Redis caching strategies.
- Develop APIs and realtime layers using REST, GraphQL (Apollo), and WebSockets.
- Design microservices and asynchronous messaging pipelines using RabbitMQ.
- Drive quality through Test-Driven Development and comprehensive automated tests.
- Collaborate with frontend (Next.js, Material UI) and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Participate in performance tuning, incident response, and capacity planning for payment systems.

Requirements:
- 5+ years commercial web development experience, including 3+ years working with Node.js.
- Expert-level TypeScript skills and practical experience with Next.js, Nest.js, Apollo, and Material UI.
- Strong experience with high-load databases: MySQL and MongoDB; experience with Redis for caching.
- Proven knowledge of API design and realtime protocols (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets).
- Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ) and building event-driven architectures.
- Solid TDD and automated testing practice.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Nice to have: prior Fintech/payment domain experience, Kubernetes/container knowledge, and CI/CD exposure.
