Responsibilities:
- Design and build high-performance, low-latency backend services for live-streaming product flows.
- Own services end-to-end: architecture, implementation, testing, rollout, monitoring, and production reliability.
- Solve distributed-systems challenges around scalability, resilience, latency, and cost efficiency.
- Contribute to high-load components (systems operating up to ~50k RPS) and drive architectural improvements.
- Collaborate with product, platform, infrastructure and data teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Requirements:
- Strong computer-science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and performance tuning.
- Proven production experience building and operating distributed or microservice-based systems.
- Experience designing APIs, async/event-driven systems (Kafka or similar), and robust service boundaries.
- Familiarity with relational databases, caching layers, and observability for production systems.
- Preferred: Java (or quick ramp-up to Java 17–21), Spring Boot, GCP, Apache Kafka, MySQL, Redis, Aerospike.
- Ownership mindset, ability to work in a fast-moving environment, and experience with high-scale consumer products.
