Responsibilities:
- Build and operate scalable AWS-based data platforms and pipelines that feed analytics, product and regulatory teams.
- Design data ingestion routes from internal services and external providers into a lakehouse architecture.
- Produce reliable, tested data models for reporting, ML/AI and regulatory use cases.
- Implement end-to-end testing, monitoring and alerting to maintain data quality and pipeline SLAs.
- Drive cross-team collaboration to deliver usable data products and automate repetitive processes with IaC.
- Stay current with data engineering best practices and evangelize improvements across the tribe.
Requirements:
- University degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences or similar.
- Proven experience in data engineering and operating data pipelines in AWS.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with dbt, Airflow, or equivalent orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with streaming/processing tech (PySpark, Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, etc.).
- Experience with Terraform/IaC, cloud networking and security patterns for data workloads.
- Good communication skills and experience working with analytics, product and compliance stakeholders.
