Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the cloud-based data stack: design, implement and operate scalable data pipelines on AWS.
- Ingest and integrate data from internal services and third parties into the lakehouse.
- Prepare, clean and model structured and unstructured data for reporting, analytics and AI use cases.
- Implement testing, monitoring and alerting to ensure pipeline accuracy, latency and reliability.
- Collaborate with analytics, regulatory and engineering teams to deliver data products and compliance reports.
- Contribute best practices, documentation and automation (Terraform, IaC) for secure, repeatable deployments.
Requirements:
- University degree in CS, mathematics, natural sciences or similar.
- Significant hands-on experience in data engineering and operating pipelines in AWS.
- Strong SQL, Python and data modeling skills; experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with streaming and processing frameworks (PySpark, Kafka, Kinesis, Flink or similar).
- Knowledge of IaC (Terraform), cloud architecture, security (IAM, VPC) and monitoring practices.
- Experience with regulatory reporting, analytics or lakehouse architectures is a plus.
