Responsibilities:
- Lead development of conformed data models and transformations for regulatory reporting using dbt and SQL.
- Build, maintain and monitor scalable ETL/data pipelines into the AWS lakehouse.
- Implement automated testing, data quality checks and alerting to ensure reliability.
- Integrate new data sources and translate business requirements into repeatable data products.
- Produce and maintain documentation, data catalog entries and governance artifacts.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering and reporting teams to deliver compliant data solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in data modeling and hands-on SQL expertise.
- Practical experience with dbt and cloud data platforms (AWS/Athena or equivalent).
- Familiarity with Python for data tasks, and with CI/CD/version control workflows.
- Experience implementing data testing and monitoring; strong attention to data quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to support stakeholders in a regulated environment.
- Degree in computer science, mathematics or related field and 2–5 years relevant experience.
