Responsibilities:
- Design and implement low-latency, high-throughput services in Rust processing time-sensitive financial data.
- Build and maintain streaming/event pipelines (real-time ingestion, processing, feedback loops).
- Implement correct, testable financial logic with strong correctness and observability guarantees.
- Profile and optimize CPU, memory, and network performance; add benchmarks and performance tests.
- Collaborate on API design, data modeling, system architecture and operational runbooks.
- Ensure production readiness: monitoring, alerting, fault-tolerance, and incident playbooks.
Requirements:
- University degree in CS, engineering or comparable qualification.
- Deep Rust expertise (ownership, lifetimes, concurrency, async, error handling).
- Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS, Terraform and production deployment patterns.
- Prior work on low-latency / high-throughput systems, streaming pipelines, or trading/financial flows.
- Strong systems thinking: latency, throughput, backpressure, failure modes and observability.
- Excellent communication, testing discipline, and passion for well-architected, documented code.
- Experience with distributed architectures, DDD, and optional familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools.
