Responsibilities:
- Develop core backend services for the new banking platform using Kotlin/Java and modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Build and maintain APIs and integrations with external financial systems and partners.
- Ensure high code quality via testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and documentation.
- Contribute to system architecture: resilience, scalability, security, and performance optimisation.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and support a self-sufficient team culture.
Requirements:
- University degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin and/or Java, Spring Boot, Docker, and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and event-driven/asynchronous architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD, test automation, and building loosely coupled, scalable systems.
- Knowledge of AWS, Terraform, Python, or GraphQL is advantageous.
- Clear communicator with strong analytical skills; finance domain experience is a plus.
