Responsibilities:
- Design, operate and scale cloud infrastructure that supports high-throughput, low-latency ad traffic and data pipelines.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS), containerized applications, autoscaling (Karpenter) and workload deployments.
- Implement and maintain IaC using Terraform; provision and manage AWS resources where required.
- Run and operate streaming and analytics platforms (Kafka, Druid, Spark, Airflow) and ensure resilience.
- Build reliable CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and deployment patterns that minimize downtime.
- Implement monitoring, logging and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Fluentbit) and incident response playbooks.
- Drive cost-optimization, migrations from managed services to open-source alternatives and automation of routine ops.
- Collaborate closely with backend and data teams to support event-driven microservices and production rollouts.

Requirements:
- 3+ years in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering with hands-on Kubernetes and cloud experience.
- Strong AWS knowledge (EKS, IAM, SNS, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB) and expertise in Terraform for IaC.
- Experience with Kafka, CI/CD (GitLab), and operating streaming/analytics stacks (Airflow, Spark, Druid).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Fluentbit).
- Comfortable migrating services from managed to self-hosted open-source solutions and driving cloud-agnostic designs.
- Good understanding of event-driven microservice architectures, autoscaling strategies and cost control as an engineering constraint.
- Strong troubleshooting, automation and collaboration skills.
