(Senior) Kotlin / Java Software Engineer - Broker (m/f/x) at Scalable GmbH

Responsibilities:
- Join a cross-functional team to design, build and operate broker services using Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot and GraphQL.
- Implement cloud-based microservices with Docker, Terraform and AWS; maintain CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
- Ensure GDPR and security requirements are met; add observability and resilient API patterns for production.
- Translate product requirements into well-architected, testable code and own features from design to production.
- Contribute to architecture, DDD practices and improvements to developer experience and automation.

Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent and 2–5 years of backend development experience.
- Solid hands-on experience with Kotlin or Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Docker, AWS and Terraform.
- Awareness or experience with GDPR/security best practices.
- Strong analytical thinking, clear communication and a passion for maintainable, documented code.
- Experience with domain-driven design, distributed architectures or financial services is a plus.
