(Senior) Risk Data & Analytics Engineer at N26

Responsibilities:
- Implement risk methodologies (ICAAP, capital/liquidity ratios, etc.) as production-ready Python solutions with traceability and reproducibility.
- Enhance and maintain internal risk tooling to improve scalability, robustness and usability.
- Translate regulatory requirements into automated, audit-proof workflows with controls, documentation and testing.
- Build and maintain automated risk reporting pipelines and supporting infrastructure.
- Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to ensure reliable data pipelines and high data quality.
- Support regulatory change implementation and new product onboarding from a risk-data perspective.
- Improve development standards within Risk Controlling (versioning, testing, CI/CD, code reviews).

Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics or similar technical field.
- Strong Python skills (OOP, modular design, data processing) and experience delivering data-driven applications.
- Solid SQL skills and experience handling large, complex datasets and pipeline integrations.
- Track record of building automated, auditable processes where data quality and traceability are essential.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices: version control, testing, CI/CD and documentation.
- Interest or experience in financial risk management and regulatory reporting; strong collaboration and communication skills.
