Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Infrastructure at N26

About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, build and own scalable workload orchestration solutions to improve security, reliability and scalability of N26 cloud systems.
- Operate and harden Kubernetes clusters and related control-plane tooling in production.
- Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Argo CD) for platform delivery and self-service capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product and stakeholder teams to define roadmaps, prioritize features, and deliver solutions aligned to customer needs.
- Mentor peers, participate in on-call rotations, and lead incident response, postmortems, and systemic improvements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot platform health; implement observability and alerting for proactive operations.

Requirements:
- Production experience designing, operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Strong AWS cloud expertise and familiarity with core services and multi-account patterns.
- Solid development experience in Go and comfortable automating infrastructure workflows.
- Hands-on Linux, networking and infrastructure-as-code skills (Terraform); experience with Argo or similar CD tooling.
- Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio or similar) and platform networking considerations.
- Background in monitoring, incident management, and systematic problem solving; strong communication and collaboration skills.
