Responsibilities:
- Architect and build high-throughput, low-latency services in Rust that handle time-sensitive market and account data.
- Implement precise, testable financial logic and ensure deterministic behavior under load.
- Develop and operate streaming/event-processing pipelines with real-time feedback and monitoring.
- Use profiling and benchmarking to identify bottlenecks and optimize CPU, memory, and network usage.
- Contribute to API design, data modeling, and system-level architecture decisions.
- Ensure observability, reliability, and clear runbooks for incident response.
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep Rust expertise: ownership model, lifetimes, async, concurrency primitives, and robust error handling.
- Production experience with Docker, AWS, Terraform and microservice deployments.
- Demonstrated experience building low-latency/high-throughput systems and using profiling tools.
- Strong systems thinking: throughput, latency, backpressure and distributed failure modes.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design and distributed architectures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; focus on testability and documentation.
