Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Tech Lead to design, implement, test, and deploy customer identity verification features.
- Build and maintain backend services using JVM/Spring Boot; contribute to microservice design and APIs.
- Ensure security, privacy, and regulatory compliance in identity flows; write and review secure code.
- Mentor junior engineers, enforce code quality via reviews, and keep documentation and tests up to date.
- Participate in incident response, monitoring, and operational improvements.

Requirements:
- Professional experience developing large-scale systems with a JVM language and Spring Boot (Kotlin is a plus).
- Solid understanding of microservice architectures and relational databases (Postgres preferred).
- Practical experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and modern deployment practices.
- Strong testing mindset: unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.
- Full professional proficiency in English and strong collaboration skills.
- Security-aware, action-oriented, and motivated to write well-tested, well-documented code.
