Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs for AI Studio, Le Chat and Mistral Code.
- Implement scalable, secure architectures and contribute to system design choices.
- Ensure reliability and performance through testing, profiling and observability.
- Collaborate closely with frontend, product and infra teams to ship end-to-end features.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, deployment and incident response.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python or another backend language and experience building web APIs and services.
- Understanding of distributed systems, databases, caching and messaging patterns.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and production debugging.
- Strong communication, ownership mindset and willingness to learn in a cross-functional team.
- 2–5 years of professional backend experience or equivalent practical experience.
