About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement reliable, performant, and scalable backend and full-stack systems using TypeScript and Python.
- Integrate and deploy machine learning models into production workflows for construction process automation.
- Drive data-driven experiments and iterate on product features with measurable metrics.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers; participate in design reviews and tech talks.
- Tackle greenfield algorithmic, scaling, and performance challenges and contribute to engineering culture and documentation.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience and degree (or equivalent) in computer science, mathematics, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python, with solid software engineering practices (testing, CI/CD, observability).
- Experience or interest in applying ML to real-world systems and building scalable, performant services.
- Curiosity, strong problem-solving, ability to learn quickly, and collaborative/empathetic communication style.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment; visa sponsorship available for international hires.
