Staff+ Software Engineer, Developer Productivity at Anthropic

Responsibilities:
- Own technical strategy and roadmap for developer productivity; translate goals into executable plans.
- Define infrastructure architecture and solve high-impact build, CI and tooling problems.
- Design and operate scalable build systems, package/dependency management and reproducible builds for a large monorepo.
- Build shared libraries, developer tooling and frameworks that accelerate research and production workflows.
- Partner with internal teams to reduce friction across the development lifecycle and support language ecosystem standards.

Requirements:
- Deep experience with build systems, CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling in large monorepo environments.
- Strong proficiency in one or more of Python, Rust, or Go.
- Experience operating container orchestration and distributed infrastructure at scale.
- Passion for developer productivity, excellent communication skills and ability to drive complex projects.
- Strong candidates often have 15+ years of software engineering experience and several years leading large, complex projects.
