Responsibilities:
- Architect and build backend services and APIs (REST/GraphQL) using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas and Supabase integrations, including security rules and real-time features.
- Deploy, monitor and operate cloud services (GCP Cloud Run/Cloud Functions), manage IAM and messaging (Pub/Sub).
- Ensure high code quality via unit, integration and end-to-end tests; participate in reviews and CI/CD automation.
- Implement secure authentication/authorization and follow Clean Code / Clean Architecture principles.
- Configure logging, monitoring and alerts; own incident response and reliability improvements.
- Work closely with frontend, product and design teams; document architecture and mentor others.

Requirements:
- 5+ years backend engineering experience.
- Strong skills in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Proven experience with PostgreSQL and Supabase or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with cloud deployments (GCP preferred) and serverless compute (Cloud Run/Functions).
- Solid understanding of API design, clean architecture, and secure development practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest), CI/CD and Git workflows.
- Comfortable with observability, incident handling and performance tuning.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
