Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain backend APIs, services, and business logic with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Design schema, queries, and policies on Supabase/PostgreSQL; ensure data integrity and security.
- Deploy and operate cloud services (GCP: Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, IAM) and optimize costs/performance.
- Write testable code and own test suites (unit, integration, E2E) using Jest or equivalent.
- Enforce security, authentication, and authorization best practices across services.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting; lead incident response and reliability work.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, documentation, and mentor peers.

Requirements:
- 5+ years backend engineering experience building production services.
- Strong Node.js and TypeScript background.
- Experience with Supabase or PostgreSQL-driven backends.
- Practical cloud experience with serverless platforms and GCP tooling.
- Knowledge of Clean Code/Clean Architecture principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, Git workflows, and secure development practices.
- Ability to work onsite in Lisbon (relocation support offered).
