Responsibilities:
- Research, prototype and productionize ML/DL models for hyperspectral remote sensing tasks (classification, detection, segmentation, regression, anomaly detection).
- Develop image pre‑processing, radiometric/atmospheric correction, tiling and feature‑engineering pipelines for hyperspectral data.
- Build robust, testable Python codebases and training/inference pipelines (unit/integration tests, containerization, CI/CD).
- Curate and manage datasets: ingestion, labeling strategies, augmentation and metadata management for large geospatial corpora.
- Optimize model training and inference for CPU/GPU, including distributed training, batch inference and model compression when needed.
- Collaborate with product, engineering and domain experts to translate requirements into deployable analytics products and monitoring.
- Implement MLOps practices: experiment tracking, model/versioning, automated QA and model health / drift monitoring.

Requirements:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
- Strong Python engineering skills and hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Practical experience with geospatial tools (GDAL, Rasterio, GeoPandas, PostGIS) and handling hyperspectral or multispectral imagery.
- Experience building data pipelines, experiment tracking and CI/CD for ML; familiarity with Docker, cloud compute or distributed frameworks (Dask, Spark) is a plus.
- Proven ability to write clean, typed code, perform model evaluation and productionize models with monitoring and QA.
