Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for ML and software projects.
- Containerize services with Docker and deploy to Kubernetes using Helm and GitOps workflows (Argo CD).
- Provision and evolve cloud infrastructure using Terraform and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
- Work with project engineers from design to deployment: implement deployment patterns, automation, and runbooks.
- Monitor and improve observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry); set up alerts, dashboards and incident triage.
- Troubleshoot deployment, runtime and infrastructure issues; perform root-cause analysis and remediation.
- Automate repetitive ops tasks and incorporate security and reliability best practices into delivery workflows.
- Document deployment processes, setup guides and hand over operational responsibilities as maturity grows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–4 years of relevant DevOps, SRE or software engineering experience.
- Practical experience with Linux, Git, Bash and at least one scripting language (Python preferred).
- Hands-on use of Docker, Kubernetes and Helm; familiarity with GitOps (Argo CD) is a plus.
- Experience creating CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/GitHub Actions) and infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) and common services (IAM, networking, storage).
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and logging/metrics concepts.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with ML/AI engineers and platform teams.
