Responsibilities:
- Maintain, implement and optimise systems that power CI/CD and continuous deployment across the platform.
- Shape and drive the CD strategy to improve delivery speed, autonomy and developer self-service.
- Implement security and compliance checks as services within pipelines and improve the overall security posture.
- Standardise pipelines, mentor teams on best practices and raise developer autonomy.
- Participate in roadmap definition, prioritisation and incident response for deployment-related issues.
- Operate and improve observability, reliability and predictable delivery of production deployments.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in at least one high-level language used in the team (Python, Go, TypeScript or Kotlin).
- Strong Linux knowledge (networking, containerisation, security) and experience with cloud providers (ideally AWS).
- Experience planning, building and supporting scalable CI/CD/CD pipelines (trunk-based/GitHub Flow) and GitHub Actions or similar.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, Salt) and Kubernetes administration (EKS) is a plus.
- Experience working in security- and compliance-focused environments is desirable.
- Commitment to mentorship, automation and improving engineering practices across teams.
