Responsibilities:
- Own architecture, development, deployment, and long-term evolution of developer platform and AI tooling capabilities.
- Lead multi-quarter technical projects: set clear milestones, deliver iterative improvements, and measure outcomes.
- Build and operate systems for developer productivity, CI/CD, observability and metrics, code-quality automation, and testing infrastructure.
- Promote and guide the adoption of AI-assisted development tools and practices across engineering teams.
- Define technical direction, design scalable systems, and proactively address long-term constraints.
- Work with engineering leadership on roadmap, technical strategy, and trade-offs.
- Mentor engineers via design collaboration, code reviews, and hands-on technical guidance.
- Take ownership of operational health: monitoring, incident response, maintenance, and deprecation decisions.
- Ensure third-party API and SaaS integrations are secure, reliable, maintainable, and developer-friendly.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2–3+ years at Senior or Staff level.
- Substantial hands-on experience building and operating developer platforms, tooling, CI/CD, observability/metrics, or testing infrastructure.
- Track record delivering infrastructure or tooling that measurably improves developer productivity, reliability, or deployment velocity.
- Strong backend development, system architecture, API, and SaaS integration skills.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing best practices, monitoring, and metrics-driven improvement.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, clear communication, and the ability to autonomously drive multi-quarter initiatives.
- Attention to security, maintainability, and excellent developer experience.
